If I could give more stars to Shasta Weddings I would. Not only was my experience there "as good as it gets", it surpassed my every wildest dream about what a wedding and wedding venue could be. So I don't even know where to start with this review, but I'll try.

Pinegri La is the most breathtakingly beautiful place. All our guests were so impressed by the view, and all our wedding photos have the most gorgeous background. You can see in pictures that it's pretty there, but pictures honestly don't do it justice. And I guess part of what you can't see in the pictures is also the vibe of the place. When you walk around Pinegri La, or sit in one of the hammocks, or even snuggle up in your cabin, you just FEEL good. The whole place has an energy about it that really feels magical.

We also couldn't have been happier with Beth and John. They were so unbelievably helpful and supportive, from the very beginning of our wedding planning right up until they sent us home with left overs the Sunday after our big day. They are warm and fun, yet totally professional. They really paid close attention to our needs and wants, even noticing things that we didn't, ways to make the experience even better. And they both worked so hard the whole time. But even while bustling around making everything perfect, they were able to calm me down (when I got nervous or worried) and make everything feel so relaxing. By the time it was all over, Beth and John felt like family to us.

What else? We had a bunch of kids at our wedding (including our two), and this place is like heaven to kids. They could run around and play and explore all they wanted. There wasn't a kid there who didn't ask to come back. Our 7-year-old twins asked when we could get married again, so they could go back there. :)

The Honeymoon site is amazing, and so special. A very unique and magical way to spend your wedding night. Then waking up to the most incredible view you can imagine, you couldn't ask for a better first day of the rest of your life together.

We loved the food, and Beth and John (and staff) were very accommodating of our dietary restrictions. I'm vegetarian, and my husband is vegan, so they went out of their way to make sure everyone had delicious food that they could eat.

We wanted to do a photo booth, and when we arrived, Beth and John had an area all ready for us to set up our equipment. The photo booth was so much fun! Some of our favorite photos from our wedding came from there.

Everyone at Shasta Weddings seemed to work so hard to make sure all our guests felt welcome and comfortable. The weekend was filled with special little extra touches that made it whimsically wonderful. We got so many compliments from satisfied guests, and many reported that this was the best wedding they'd ever been too. I think we'll all be talking about it for a long time.

SO much thanks to Beth and John and everyone at Pinegri La!! Our wedding really was perfect. :)

Just returned from the greatest weekend wedding ever! Beth and John and their staff could not have treated us better if it was their own family's wedding. The setting is incredibly beautiful, the cabins and camping are wonderful, the food is delicious! It's a perfect venue if you have friends and family who love the outdoors, camping, (beer), jamming with drum circles, guitars, mandolins, etc until the wee hours, etc. Also, safe for toddlers, and easy for our more mature guests to navigate as well. Very very happy my daughter and her fiance (husband!) found Pine-Gri-La! Definitely recommend it!

It has been exactly 1 year since Brian and I said "I do". We were so happy with our venue choice - Pinegri-la was just perfect for us. We enjoyed the mountain setting, the relaxed atmosphere, the variety of activities available, the friendly and hard working staff, the delicious food, the great weather, the unlimited fun we could have in this private resort! Also, thank you for the suggested vendors, the people we selected from the list did marvelous job as well - you surround yourself with great professionals. The bottom line is that we could not have been more pleased with everything and even one year later ,we are still getting compliments from our friends, some of them stating that this has been the best wedding they have ever been to. And we know that they are not exaggerating...

We got married at the Trinity Mountains Resort (Pinegri-La) in early August, 2009. This resort is near Castella, CA, it has cabins where you and your party can spend the entire weekend in a beautiful, relaxing setting. There is also camping available, with complete facilities for campers and cabiners alike. You basically get to take over the place for a whole weekend! Play your music and hang out with your friends and family all night long. We had our friends marry us and Beth at Pinegri-La was able to sign our marriage license, best of all we were married outside in a beautiful meadow. We visited the resort almost 2 years ago when we were first engaged, so we were not sure what to expect (we barely remembered it) and we could not be happier with our wedding experience. It is such a beautiful setting, your friends and family all get the chance to get know each other for an entire weekend, when else in your life can you get that to happen? My husband has family that lives in Mt Shasta, but my family came all the way from the East Coast. The staff at the resort went out of their way to accommodate my mother's food allergy, going so far as to cook her meal separately, making her forget the stress of the trip across country. Several of our guests and I are also vegan and they did an amazing job clearly labeling all of the dishes for us and those with food allergies. The food, by the way, was amazing. Much of it was organic; it was obviously fresh and prepared with care. The whole weekend, the Friday night BBQ, breakfasts both mornings and the wedding reception dinner, was incredible foodwise. The "honeymoon suite" was a canopy bed out in the woods, open to the stars above, with beautiful views the next morning; it was just another perk. In short, we heard from many of our family and friends that it was the best wedding they had ever attended. These compliments directly reflect the amazing staff at Pinegri-La, we thank you for making our wedding magical and amazing!

My husband and I married up at Pine-gri-la this summer. It was everything we ever dreamed of! The wedding grounds were beautiful; the cabins were quaint; and the food was FANTASTIC. The guests were amazed by the beautiful and relaxing scenery.

Beth and John were so helpful and welcoming that we felt like they were family. The rest of the staff was efficient and professional.

Having this mini destination wedding made a huge difference. The whole ceremony from setup to take down was done at such an easy pace - there was no scrambling to get out by a certain time.

We can not wait to go back for another wedding, or just to visit with Beth and John.

My (new!) husband and I just had our wedding here on the 20th of June, and it was, without a doubt, the most perfect weekend of my lifetime! John and Beth (owners) were kind and helpful and made sure that all of our needs were met, as well as our family and friends. We could not have picked a better location for our guests to experience such a fun-filled weekend. From the swimming hole, the BBQ, fishing, beautiful hikes, there was no shortage of activities for our 100+ wedding guests. Thank you John and Beth for running such a warm and sucessful business--Pinegrila will always have a special place in our hearts. We were so sad for the weekend to end but the memories of our fantastic wedding will live on forever! Looking forward to visiting you both again!!
